Hiram is a coeducational liberal arts college of 900 men and women located in the historic Western Reserve region of Ohio.
Hiram is a nationally respected institution that offers students a distinct learning environment with an emphasis on close
student-faculty interactions, international study experiences, and experiential learning environments. Hiram's Weekend
College for adult learners was the first program of its kind in Ohio and enables students to earn their degree in four years
by taking classes on alternate weekends. The College recently established a master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.

- Hiram's quality undergraduate programs for adult students, with classes held every other weekend. Students can finish a degree started elsewhere or begin their college career and finish in four years. Over 300 adult learners are enrolled in the program each year.
- Hiram College offers a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, an innovative, challenging, and flexible graduate program. Students take classes on alternate weekends. Hiram offers a variety of summer courses for teachers through the Office of Graduate Studies.
- Hiram College cherishes its heritage as an institution of academic excellence and rare distinction. Hiram's 900 students come from twenty-six states and twenty-three countries and represent more than twenty-five different religions. The College was awarded a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's premier undergraduate honor society, in 1971.
- Hiram College is located in the historic village of Hiram, Ohio, 35 miles southeast of Cleveland. A college campus in the United States is much like that of a small university. At Hiram College, the main campus occupies 110 acres (44 ha.), containing many characteristically collegiate buildings used for classes, research, offices, and housing. Several academic departments are located in historic 19th-century houses.
- Hiram is the only affiliate college of the Shoals Marine Lab, which is located in Appleton, Maine, and run by Cornell University and the University of New Hampshire. The lab offers summer programs in marine science, ecology, coastal and oceanic law, and underwater archeology.
- Hiram is nationally recognized and accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and certified by the American Chemical Society. These accreditations assure students that credits earned at Hiram College may be transferred to other post-secondary colleges and universities and that Hiram College graduates are readily accepted into advanced graduate degree programs.
